Ottoman & Turkish Cuisine Cooking Workshop in Istanbul

Discover the Ottoman Palace Kitchen

Step beyond the usual Turkish food tour and into the flavors of Ottoman and Turkish home cooking in this private, hands-on culinary experience.

Working alongside your local chef, you’ll prepare a traditional three-course Ottoman-inspired meal using recipes and techniques rarely encountered in modern restaurants. Depending on the season, your menu may feature honey-filled börek, sour-cherry stuffed vine leaves, and a showstopping seasonal dolma—such as melon stuffed with beef in summer or apple or quince stuffed with meat in winter.

This is an experience designed to be enjoyed, not rushed. You’ll learn by doing: preparing ingredients, shaping pastries, stuffing vegetables and fruit, and discovering how Ottoman cuisine creates harmony between sweet, sour, savory, and aromatic flavors.

Once the cooking is complete, sit back and enjoy your creations alongside a selection of traditional meze, followed by baklava for dessert. Water, Turkish tea, and coffee are included.
