Istanbul Private Tour is a brand of Experta Tours & Events, operating under the licence of Tessera Tourism, TURSAB membership document no. 7707.

Experta Tours & Events is passionate about delivering excellent travel experiences. All booking requests are handled directly by our staff and management.

Deposits may be required to secure certain reservations, such as flights, transfers or hotel allotments. Any deposits will be communicated in advance and are typically invoiced separately.

We realise that most travellers who cancel do so out of necessity, and our lenient cancellation policy takes this into account. In case of cancellation, fees are charged as follows:

• 45+ days before arrival — no cancellation fee
• 44 to 15 days before arrival — 10% of the tour price
• 14 to 7 days before arrival — 50% of the tour price
• 6 to 1 days before arrival — 80% of the tour price
• No show — 100% of the tour price

The above charges exclude any non-refundable deposits. Experta endeavours to disclose such non-refundable deposits upon confirmation but cannot be held responsible for fees charged by third parties. Experta reserves the right to give no refund if travellers cancel the remaining program, in full or in part, after the tour has started.

Travellers are responsible for holding proper travel documents: a valid passport with sufficient blank pages, the required visas and any necessary passport photographs. Experta strongly advises travellers to carry adequate travel insurance for the duration of their trip.

Experta defines force majeure as any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of a party which prevent or impede the due performance of our services, including but not limited to war or hostilities; riot or civil commotion; epidemic; earthquake, flood or other natural disasters. The traveller and their agent accept that Experta and its subsidiaries shall not be responsible or liable for costs or missed opportunities arising from changes or cancellations to the program, in full or in part, due to force majeure.

Experta shall do its utmost to provide services to the best of its ability and to work towards the full satisfaction of the client. Experta acts solely as an intermediary between the traveller (or their travel agent or tour operator) and local airlines, hotels, restaurants, boat companies and ground transportation companies. Experta is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the traveller, including those occurring outside the tour programs. Experta shall in no event be liable to the traveller or their travel agent — whether by reason of breach of services, unsatisfactory services provided by third parties, indemnity, tort or otherwise — for any loss, injury, damage, delay, change in schedule or other adverse event beyond Experta’s control or caused by the act or default of any person or company providing services to the traveller.
